All companies established in the EU or doing business in the EU, will have to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) provisions by May 25, 2018.
This new regulation protects and allows for the enforcement of the privacy rights of individuals with whom you are conducting business. These individuals can be your employees, customers, supplier contacts or prospects. Moreover, the GDPR considerably increases the maximum fines for failure to comply with the new regime (for certain violations this can amount up to 4% of the annual worldwide turnover of the preceding financial year or 20 million euro, whichever is greater) and enhances the rights of the National Data Protection Authorities to carry out inspections and impose sanctions in case of failure to comply.
Our firm has a solid reputation of taking an independent, pragmatic and hands-on approach to complex matters. Naturally our approach to the GDPR is similar. Together with your team we will set up a road map to make your business compliant with the GDPR.
To assist you, we have prepared a set of three GDPR Readiness Packages from which you can select one depending on the needs of your company.
You can contact our GDPR partner Mr. Dylan Casaer who will provide you with professional advice in order to guide you which customized GDPR package is best suited for your company.
